About Us

Iron Skirt Productions is a female owned production company, formed in the summer of 2022 by Sasha Hawkes and Amy Marcs. Their first production, Iron Skirt Stories, had a three month, sold out run at Moving Arts Theatre in Los Angeles. They produced Amy Marcs' critically acclaimed play, "Nice T!ts" in Taipei, Taiwan in 2023. As women who have survived cancer, Sasha and Amy firmly believe in the transformative power of sharing personal stories. Hawkes, an experienced Marriage and Family Therapist, has recently expanded into writing and producing. Marcs (www.amymarcs.com) is a New York City based actress and writer, who is currently working in Los Angeles.
